The year was 2007...

...when academic researchers Fredric Lindström and Christian Schüldt, both today holding Ph.D. degrees in Applied Signal Processing, from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden, met and together came up with the seed of what today is the TrueVoiceTM software.

The mission today is the same as it was back then: That voice conversations should sound equally loud and clear, regardless of the distance or environment.

With this vision in mind, work began on developing the technology which is today regarded by many companies as the world's best portable acoustic echo cancellation software. Signal processing and embedded software experts were hired, steadily expanding the core team of Limes Audio.

It should sound loud and clear — as if
everyone were sitting in the same room.

Beyond software

Soon, it became apparent that a higher value could be offered customers if Limes Audio did not only provide the software, but also contributed to hardware and mechanical design, to ensure the best possible audio quality of the product. Limes Audio grew its organization with new expertise, taking care to preserve the culture of innovation, dedication, and improvement first established by the founders. The result is today's close-knit cross-functional development team.

New ventures

Encouraged by the interest of some of the largest and most well-known companies in the audio business, and electronics, Limes Audio is expanding operations and taking steps to bring their technology to new areas and applications while continuing the core technology development that has kept the company ahead of competitors.

Fredric Lindström and Christian Schüldt are still key persons in the company — today surrounded by a team of over 20 co-workers — working every day towards their original vision of a sound for everyone that's loud and clear.
